The Deal Walking Festival, founded by Alan Sutton six years ago, is now being organised by the White Cliffs Ramblers. This year sees a major expansion in the festival, with a much fuller programme which we hope will meet the diverse needs of local walkers and visitors to Deal. Whether your need is for a demanding yomp or a leisurely interest stroll, you're likely to find just what you need in our greatly expanded programme of festival walks.

UK Outlook for Wednesday 21 August to Friday 30 August 2013
Many parts will enjoy light winds and sunny spells through Wednesday and Thursday. The best of any sunshine is likely to be across the south and east, where it may turn warm or locally very warm. Further towards the north and west, there is a risk of showers that may merge into a longer spell of persistent rain, with cooler temperatures here as a result. Thereafter, many parts should enjoy further fine and dry weather with spells of sunshine. Once again, some northern and western parts may be more unsettled at times with a risk that these conditions become slightly more widespread later. Whilst daytime temperatures will largely be near normal, it will become warm at times during sunnier periods and locally very warm across south-eastern areas.
LAST DAY OF FESTIVAL 2013
Come to the BBQ tonight (£10 per head) at the Port Arms DEAL at 6.30 pm
LAST WALK OF THE FESTIVAL AT 1.30 PM.
